Essure Removal With Tubal Ligation Reversal Surgeons

As with having a tubal ligation many women change their minds after having the Essure procedure and choose to have another child. Although meant to be a permanent form of contraception it is reversible.

Many women who change their minds call the physician who did the Essure procedure to see if it can be removed and are told that removal is not possible. Many times the physicians themselves just do not realize that it is reversible with the hands of a very skilled surgeon.

Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center with Dr. Gary Berger and Dr. Charles Monteith have proven that Essure is reversible and have performed the surgery numerous times. Dr. Berger and Dr. Monteith specialize in tubal ligation reversal and repairing blocked fallopian tubes. Women travel from all over the world to Chapel Hill to have tubal ligation reversal. And now the same is proving true for Essure removal.

Dr. Charles Monteith has written a blog post on the Essure procedure and how it is reversible. The name of the blog post is: Essure Reversal: What You Need To Know. For those inquiring to have the Essure removed this will prove very informative.

Although the Essure is still considered to be a relatively new form of contraception is is not believed to be reversible it is in the hands of skilled surgeons. The price of Essure reversal is the same as tubal ligation reversal surgery due to the fact that Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center is trying to make it affordable for those who wish to have the procedure.

The Essure removal surgery takes about 90 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis. Pain following the procedure is not common. For more information the tubal ligation reversal nurses are available 24 hrs. a day 7 days a week for a free phone consultation. The website also has a message board and videos for those who are interested in tubal ligation reversal or Essure removal.

Hello, I had the Essure procedure done in 2005 along with Uterine Ablation. I experienced to pain on and off in my pelvic area for about the first three year. The pain was never bad enough to seek medical attention.

About 6 weeks ago I started experiencing SEVERE back pain and SEVERE PAIN in my left pelvic area. I’ve been going to a chiropractor and the back has gotten somewhat better. The L side pelvic pain has goten worst!

I believe my Essure coil has become dislodge and is causing me the severe pain I have been experiencing. I would like to discuss the possibility of have it removed. I am in NO WAY WANTING TO BECOME PREGNANT!
I am self-employed, and currently do not have medical insurance. I have no idea how much to expect to pay to have this procedure done.

I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance!
